月日が流れかって存在した神々も今はいずこかえと去ってしまい神霊の加護を失いし日本は数多くの異形の物たちに蹂躙されていた。 これはそんな世界で人知れず人々の小さな幸せを護るために戦った戦士たちの物語である。 響鬼伝 紅蓮の神と鬼少女 記の一 「逆神の呪い」 「・・・ここも、もぅ駄目か・・・。」 「そのようだね、セキ。」 荒れ果て瘴気渦巻く大地を見渡す二人の修験者風の様相の少年たち。 「ここも、奴等のものになちぃまったな。」 「そうだね、奴等の侵攻は思っていたよりも早い。」 突如、黒雲が発生したかと思うと二人の周辺に数匹の異形が姿を現す。 『ぎぃぎゃーぎゃ！！』 「下級の陰魔か・・・。」 「さっさと終わらせてこいつ等の主を追うよ、セキ。」 「そうだな・・・変身！！」 一枚の札をバックルに通すと同時にその身が真紅の焔に包まれる。 「はぁぁぁーぁ、はぁ！！」 焔を弾き飛ばし真紅の鎧を纏った仮面の戦士が現れる。 「仮面ライダー紅蓮、推参。」 もう一人は懐から取り出した筆で空中に＜変身＞の二文字を書き、その文字を其の身に纏う。 「−−−はぁ！！」 蒼黒の鬼が体に纏わりつく文字のかけらを弾き飛ばしその全容を表す。 「猛士・・・広域捜査員、呪鬼推参。」 『ぎぃぎゃーぎゃ！！』 二体の異形の戦士を目にしいっそう殺気をみなぎらせる陰魔たち。 そんな陰魔たちを一瞥し攻撃に入る二人。 「霊鬼剣・飛燕招来！」 その呼び声に答えるかのように暗雲を裂き飛来する一本の霊刀。 その霊刀をかまえ群がる陰魔に切り込む紅蓮。 「不知火一刀流烽火三鎌！！」 焔を纏った刃が一瞬のうちに陰魔たちを三枚におろしてゆく。 「うーん、なんでこの技は料理専門なんだ？こんなに使えるのに・・・。」 一方呪鬼のほうはというと。 「さってと、こっちも負けてらんないな。喰い殺せ狛王！！」 右手に持っていた筆が巨大な狛犬の姿に変わり陰魔たちを瞬殺してゆく。 一方こちらはそんなやられ役に徹してしまった陰魔たちを送り出したマカモウ軍の移動要塞＜オロチ＞内部でこの様子を見ている者たちがいた。 「・・・姫よ、我等が出向くべきだったか？」 「・・・童子よ、それでも結果は似通ったものやも知れぬ。」 「わらわが出向けばよかったかの？」 「いえいえ、ヒトツミ、あなたがでるまでもござりませぬよ。」 「では、どうするのだ？逆神よ？」 「ここは私目にお任せお。」 そういうと呪術専用に作られた部屋へと移動する。 「・・・なるほど、なるほど。」 「逆神殿の儀式攻撃か・・・。」 「ん？何かさっきよりも瘴気が濃くなってない？」 「言われてみれば確かに濃くなってるな。」 「んーやっぱヒビキちゃんが来るの待ってからにするべきだったかな突入？」 「だったらこいつ等が邪魔に入るほど近くまでこれてないな。」 「確かに・・・あの山のふもとにいるｂのが・・・。」 「ああ、奴等の移動要塞＜オロチ＞だな。」 話しながらも確実に陰魔たちを駆逐してゆく。 そして最後の一体を倒したまさに其のとき。 上空の雲がその姿を変え、一体のマカモウの姿となった。 「な！？」 「こいつは・・・・逆神！！」 『おろかなリントの戦士よ、我が力をしかと其の身に刻むがよいわ！！』 放たれた黒き雷、いや、瘴気の塊が二人に落ちる。 『ふふふ、これであなた方も終わりですね。』 暗雲が消え去ると同時に、周囲の瘴気も薄まり人が防毒マスクをはずして活動できるまでに空気が澄み渡る。 「う、ぅぅう、なんだったの？」 「さ、さぁーなんだろうね。」 お互いに聞き覚えのないソプラノ声に顔を見合わせる。 そして。 「「えぇぇぇーーーー！！！」」 果たして彼等のみに起こった変化とは？ 次回を待て。 |
