仮面ライダークロノスたん・特別出張盤 ver.“ひびき”-04



　――――ハカランダ、天川　レオナが店主 兼 家主の喫茶店にて。
　SB（スマートブレイン）、および“猛士”重鎮でもあるレオナ――どうでもいいけどレオナちゃん、このトシにしてかなり権力にぎってるな（ぉ　――は、自室にて一枚のレポートを反芻（はんすう）していた。
　パラリ、パラリとめくられていく報告書、その指はどことなく重くて――――

レオナ「……ふぅ。とりあえず“キュウビ”に関してはしばらくの間、問題はないみたいですね」

　――――言葉とは裏腹に、その表情はどこか、暗い。
　……別にレオナの部屋が薄暗いとか、証明をつけてないからとか、そんなしょーもない理由ではない。
　原因は先ほども目を通した報告書――“キュウビ討伐における活動記録”と銘打たれた――の内容である。
　簡略化したものだが、その内容をここに記載しておこう。


　・那須のキュウビ、その顛末について
　　　キュウビ撃退に向かったヒビキ、イブキ、トドロキの三名はいくらか負傷したものの、いずれもが無事に帰還。
　　　童子たんはヒビキにより消滅、姫たんは上三名の手により消滅。
　　　殺生石――――キュウビの討伐には、失敗。
　　　よって緊急措置として後日、厳重な封印処置が施される予定。


　・キュウビが使役していた大勢の怪人少女について
　　　都市部、および東北地方において甚大な被害（昏倒者が続出との報告アリ、その実数に関しては現在調査中だが60000人は下らないと予想される）を
　　　もたらした狐風の怪人少女、その正体については現時点では確証なし。
　　　ただし討伐に当たったヒビキら三名の証言より、怪人少女は異魔人だと推測される。
　　　根拠は後述。


　・未確認のライダー少女について
　　　今回のキュウビ討伐にあたり、三人のライダー少女（以降、仮称として“UMG、Unidentified Masked-rider Girls”と表記）と遭遇したとの報告アリ。
　　　コードネーム“電王たん”と類似した特徴・装備を有していたことから、似通った存在だと推測される。
　　　またUMGと上記の怪人少女が交戦していたことから、謎の怪人少女は異魔人だと類推される。
　　　接触した三名によると、その態度は友好的だった模様。


　・那須岳（なすだけ）中腹に確認された謎のクレーターについて
　　　現時点では詳細不明。
　　　ただしその威力からアルケミー＝スターズ保有の光粒子兵器、マキシマ砲との疑いアリ。
　　　アルケミー＝スターズに接触（コンタクト）を試みたものの、さしたる成果は挙がらず。
　　　アルケミー＝スターズ側は一貫して関与、および光粒子技術――通称マキシマオーバドライブシステム――の漏洩（ろうえい）を否定。


　大体、こんな感じである。
　もちろん本来の活動記録はこんな大雑把な書き方はされてはいないが。

レオナ（前にも夕菜ちゃんが言ってましたけど、怪人少女側も徒党を組み始めているってこと、なんでしょうか……？　だとすると、私たちもそれなりに友好関係を築いておかないと――――）

　そこまで考えて、猛烈な不安をレオナは感じた。
　ライダー少女だってそれぞれの主義主張があり、それをムリヤリ統率するということはマイナスにしか働かないのではないか？
　そう考えたからである。
　それに……

レオナ（犬猿の仲っていうのは、身近にもありますし……（汗　）

　例えば、レオナの仲間であるファイズィーとカイズィー。
　変身前の乾　いぬみとレオナの義姉である草加　雅菜が超仲が悪いのだから、当たり前といえば当たり前だが。
　例えば、BOARDに属するギャレンたんとSB所属のカイズィー。
　レオナは詳しいことは知らないが、なんでも上に負けず劣らずの犬猿カップル（ぉ）なんだとか。
　他にも自我が強すぎる（＝協調性にかける、と推測される）ライダー少女というのも、報告には挙がっている。
　SB勢のデルティー、猛士の――厳密にはライダー少女ではないが――超ナマイキで礼儀知らず（レオナの主観含む）志村　純、ZECTでもトップレベルの能力を有するカブトたん、などなど。
　なんというか、みんな揃ってアクが強すぎる。

レオナ「でも……きっと、大丈夫ですよねっ。みんな目指すところは――――平和を願う心は、同じなんだから」

　一人ごちるその姿は、まるで自分に言い聞かせているよう（ぉ）だ。
　実際、レオナも別勢力のライダー少女と共闘したことはある。
　それ以外にも友好的な関係を保っているという報告は、あるのだ。
　きっと、上手くいく。
　そう信じて、レオナは活動記録を“猛士”上層部に贈ることに決めた。
　アルケミー＝スターズ関連の報告に関してはなんともいえないのだが、そちらは夕菜に任せるとしよう。
　……正直なところレオナ、ひいてはSBとしてはアルケミー＝スターズにはよくない印象を抱いてはいるのだが。
　レオナはふと、窓から空を見上げた。
　空はややくもり始めていたが、雲の隙間からはやわらかな日差しがさしていた。

　――――時間はかなり巻きもどり、響鬼たんたちが玖姫たんと戦闘を行っているころ。
　ダダダダダっ！　と林道をかけるその姿、真っ白な騎士はクロノスたん・ランスフォーム。
　つい先ほどタフすぎる――言い換えればタフなだけだったのだが――フォックスたんたちを三人がかりでボコボコになぎ倒し、そのまま走っていた。
　その目的はとうぜん響鬼たんたちの援助――というより、自分が暴れたいだけかもしれんが（ぇ　――、クロノスたん・LFは殺生石までもう少しというところまで迫っていた。
　ふいに、口を開く。

クロノスLF「どうやらイマジンどもはさっきの連中が全てだったみたいだな。まるで気配を感じない」
スミレ（そーなの？　だったらフォローに来て正解だったかもね）
クロノスLF「？　何故だ？」
スミレ（………あのさ、フツーに考えて今の姫たん、だったけ？　はけっこう“詰み”なワケじゃない。
　　　　部下は全滅、追っ手は六人。これって姫たんにとっては相当キツいシチュだと思うけど？）

　半ば本気で呆れたように、言う。
　この時点で“追っ手が六人”と言ったのは、響鬼たんたちが玖姫たんに追いついたかどうか確かめる術がなかったからなのだが。

クロノスLF「おぉ、なるほどな！」
スミレ（…………なんかオリヴィエ、最近どんどんトリ頭（≒ばか）になってきてるよーな。（汗　）

　ちょっと真剣に心配してるスミレのつぶやきも、幸か不幸かオリヴィエには届かなかったらしい。
　暴走列車と化したままただひたすらに走るクロノスたんの足は、止まらない――――かに、思われたのだが。
　それは思いもよらぬ存在の介入により、急ブレーキをかけられることになる。

　ずだだだだだっっ！！？

クロノスLF「！？　ちっ、……誰だ！」

　突如として降り注ぐ銃弾の嵐、それを緊急回避しながらクロノスたんは吼える。
　いかんせん視界の悪い森の中、その姿をすぐに見つけることはできなかった。
　そんなクロノスたんを嘲笑（あざわら）うかのように、ケタケタと声が聞こえる。

？？？「『誰だ！』なんて言われて答えるヒトなんて、いないと思うけどなーっ」
スミレ（そりゃそーだよね。いや、当たり前っちゃ当たり前なんだけど、襲われたアタシたちとしてはそう言わざるをえないわけで）
クロノスLF「お前ちょっと黙ってろ！　えぇい、影からコソコソと！！」

　狙い済ました狙撃を回避すべく木の影にかくれ、クロノスたんは悪態をつく。
　背中越しに再度見回すが、やはり人影らしきものは見当たらない。

クロノスLF（ここら一帯の木、全部切り倒すか……？）
スミレ（こら、なに物騒なこと考えてんの。オリヴィエ、上から行くよ！）
クロノスLF「上……？　よしきた！！」
？？？「なにをヒソヒソ話してるのかなーぁっ？　そぉれっ！」

　バキバキッ！　と隠れ蓑にしていた木が倒れる！
　しかしクロノスたんは慌てず騒がず、横っ飛び。
　別の木を踏み台にするかのように蹴って、その反動を利用してさらに跳ぶ！
　そして見た、敵の正体を！

クロノスLF「アイツは――――！？」

　ブルーとオレンジのサイケな衣装、どこかで聞いたような喋り口、イモムシを擬人化したかのような、2mにも達するようなその姿――――！

スミレ（これだけ特徴揃っててヒト違いってオチもないはず。オリヴィエ！）
クロノスLF「あぁ、間違いない。あのときの異次元人だっ！！」

　以前のコトを思い出したのか、珍しくスミレの真剣、かつ怒気をはらんだ声。
　とうぜんオリヴィエも気合いを入れなおし、ライダーパスをとりだした。
　ひっ捕らえて情報を聞き出すなんて悠長なことを考える余裕は、少なくとも今の二人には、ない！！

クロノスLF「ここで遭ったが100年目、一思いにやってやる！　≪――Full Charge――！≫　くらえ、エクストリーム・スラッシュっっ！！」
？？？「うわ、こりゃアブナイかもっ！？」

　急降下しつつ、白いオーラをまとった刃が謎の敵に向かって振り下ろされ――――！！

？？？「――――なんちゃって。ところがぎっちょん、大回転しっぽアタック！！」
クロノスLF「……な、に―――――っっ！？」

　……ギャグみたいな台詞をはきつつ、謎の敵は腰あたりから生えている尻尾を、ふった。
　その太く逞しい尻尾はガッシャーランスの刃をいとも容易くはね返し、そのままクロノスたんをも押しとばす！
　ずしゃっ！　とクロノスたんは地面を転がった。

クロノスLF「がはっ！？　……くそっ、なんてばか力――――」
？？？「もういっちょ！　トリモチランチャー、発射（しゅーと）っっ！！」
クロノスLF「……へ？（汗　」

　実にマヌケな声がもれた。
　避ける暇もなくクロノスたんを襲ったのは、白くてネバネバしたもの。
　べちゃぁっ！　と直撃し、その粘性（ねんせい）が絡みついて身動きがとれない。

スミレ（な　ん　と　い　う　ぶ　っ　か　け　プ　レ　イ　！？）
クロノスLF「/// んなしょーもないコト言ってる場合か！？ ///　くそっ、小賢（こざか）しい真似をぉっ！！」
？？？「悪役に向かって『コザカシイ』とか『ヒキョーモノ』とかって、誉め言葉以外のナニモノでもないよねーっ♪」

　ざっ、と正面に姿を表した敵。
　その右腕が、変形を始めていた。
　真っ直ぐ水平に伸ばしたかと思うと、まるで大砲のような形状になる。

？？？「さて。“ショーコインメツ”も兼ねて、性能ジッケンといきますか。光エネルギーじゅうてんスタートっ、マキシマオーバドライブ稼動！」
クロノスLF「――――な！？」
スミレ（ちょ、“マキシマオーバドライブ”って言ったら、トンデモ兵器じゃないっ！？　なんでそんなチート武器を！）

　ありえない事体に焦るが、それを尻目に敵の準備は完了したようだ。
　少し首を傾けてクロノスたんを見ると、謎の敵はにかっと笑って、

？？？「それぢゃ、ばいばいっ♪　ネオマキシマ砲、ふぁいやーっ！」

　右腕から光の奔流があふれ出す――――！！

　まるで地図に線を引いたかのように、那須岳が削れた。
　ネオマキシマ砲を受けて、耐え切れるモノなど存在しない。
　それを知っているからこそ彼女は満足げな笑みを浮かべて――――

？？？「え？　戻ってこい、ですか？　はーいっ、わっかりましたぁ。……ここからがオモシロくなりそうだったのになぁ」

　――――空間を叩き割り、いなくなった。

？？？「ネオマキシマ砲、ふぁいやーっ！」
クロノスLF「ぐっ、……！？」

　人類（ヒト）が作りし叡智の光、それがクロノスたんに牙をむいた。
　迫ってくるビーム、それを防ぐ手立てはない！
　しかし、ならば避ければいいのだ！！

クロノスGF「わいるどぉー、しょっとぉ―――――っっ！！」

　クロノスたん・ランスフォームの目の前に突如として現れたクロノスたん・ガンフォーム！
　問答無用で迫りくるビームに必殺の一撃を放つ。

クロノスSF「はぁっ！！」

　すぱっ！　とトリモチ弾が居合いを思わせる鎌さばきで、断ち切られた。
　とうぜんクロノスたん・シックルフォームの芸当である。

クロノスSF「さ、急いで離脱です。アリサさん！」
クロノスGF「はぅあぅあぅっ、すたこらさっさなのですよっっ！！」

　たかが一ライダー少女の必殺技如きで、相殺できるシロモノではない。
　クロノスたん・GFの放ったワイルドショットは、わずか数秒だけしか粒子ビームの行く手をさえぎることは出来なかった。
　三人はすぐさまその場を離れると、身を隠す。
　刹那、先ほどまでいた場所は光に呑みこまれて文字どおり“消滅”してしまった。
　クロノスたん・SFはすぐさま謎のイモムシ少女から身を隠す。

クロノスSF「……危機イッパツでしたね。どうやら気づかれてはいないようです」
クロノスGF「目が、目がチカチカするのですよぅ……！？」

　ごしごしごしと目をこすりながらクロノスたん・GFが嘆くが、あれだけまぶしい光に立ち向かったのだから当たり前だ。
　やがて光が収まると、そこには何もいなかった。
　その惨状を見つつ、ポツリとつぶやく。

クロノスSF「……トンデモない威力、ですね。根こそぎとはこういうことを言うんでしょう。ここが山の中で助かりました」
クロノスGF「うわ、ベットベトのネッバネバなのです。オリヴィエ、ばっちぃ！」
クロノスLF「（ぷちっ）……ほぉ―――――う？　なら、お前も汚してやるっ！　このっ、このっ、このっ！！」
クロノスGF「ひゃ！？　えんがちょ、なのです！　こっち来ないで～～～～っっ！！？（脱兎　」

　……君ら、遊びすぎ。（ぉ
　それはともかくとして、再び救援に向かおうとしていた三人の耳に、

　ドドォォン……！

　と、聞こえてくる太鼓の音。

スミレ（太鼓？　こんな山奥で？）
クロノスLF「あれは――――音撃だな」
クロノスSF「……どうやら、ワタクシたちの出番はもうないようですね」

　言ってクロノスたん・SFが山奥を指さす。
　そこでは火柱が立ち上ったあと、爆発とも思わしき光景が。
　おそらく鬼少女たちがマカモウと戦っているのだろう。
　姫たんならともかくマカモウ本体が相手なら、音撃を使えないクロノスたんたちに役目はない。

スミレ（そっかー。……それじゃ、撤収しようか。いちおーイマジンたちは全滅したみたいだし）
クロノスLF「ちょっと待て、このままオメオメと引き下がるのかっ！？」
スミレ（だって逃げられちゃったじゃん。アタシたち異次元にいく方法なんてないし。
　　　　それに今日はいつにも増して疲れたの、早く帰ってゴロゴロしたいってのが本音）

　そもそもがイマジン少女の殲滅戦だったわけで、目的は達したと判断。
　疲れているのか思考もどことなく投げやりである。
　オリヴィエも後半部分はともかく、“異次元にいく方法がない”という部分には納得せざるを得ないので、今回は珍しく大人しく（……）引き下がった。

クロノスSF「いえ、そう簡単にはイきませんよ？」

　そんなスミレを、シャルが引き止めるのだった――――。

　……赤紫のオーラ漂う、次元と次元の狭間――――異次元。
　真っ赤なドレスに身を包んだ彼女――――異次元人、ヤプールはゆったりとした椅子に腰掛け、目の前の虚空を眺めていた。
　そこではいくつか空間の裂け目が出来ており、そこには様々な情景が浮かび上がっている。
　と、そんな彼女の元に近づいてくる影が一つ。
　イモムシをベースとして作り出された彼女の部下が一人、バキシムだ。

バキシム「ヤプールさまー、どーしてあっさり引き上げたんですかーぁっ？　せっかくいいトコだったのに」
ヤプール「キュウビのヤツ、あっさりやられおったわ。噂に聞くマカモウ、とやらも、存外たいしたことないのぅ」

　言いつつ、ヤプールは手にしていた杖のようなもので、一つのスクリーンを指す。
　そこには巨大な石にまたがり、太鼓を叩き続ける一人の鬼少女――――響鬼たんが写っていた。
　他にもギターのようなものをもった鬼少女や、トランペットのようなものを持った鬼少女まで。
　音撃が炸裂するたびに殺生石から膨大な負のエネルギーが抜けていく。
　黒くよどんだ瘴気は、一向におさまる気配がない。

威吹鬼『なんて頑丈な……三人がかりでも、まるで利いてない――――！？』

　スクリーンから声が聞こえる。
　その声のとおり、実際は音撃がほとんど利いていない。
　キュウビはショックのあまり引きこもった（……）のか、防御に専念しているようだ。
　漏れ出す瘴気などキュウビ自身が保有する力に比べれば氷山の一角だろう。
　このまま持久戦に持ちこめば、キュウビ有利――――のハズなのだが。

バキシム「………アレ？　じゃぁなんで見捨てたんですかっ？」

　たしか当初の計画ではキュウビを復活させ、その記憶を利用して“猛士”成立以前にイマジン少女を送りこみ、あわよくば鬼少女たちの起源を根絶やしにするつもりだったのだが。
　バキシムの疑問に、ヤプールは実に興味なさ気に言い切った。

ヤプール「あれではどの道なんらかの対抗策を練られてお陀仏じゃ。上手くいけば妾（わらわ）の部下として
　　　　改造してやろうかとも思っておったが……この程度とは拍子抜けじゃ。ちと期待しすぎたかのう？」
バキシム「あー、名前負けってヤツですねー」

　つまり、なんだ、弱くて気に入らないから切り捨てた、と。
　どうもヤプールの言葉を聞くと、そういうことらしい。
　バキシムは、ヤプール様らしいなー、とか思ってたり。

ヤプール「それで、“まきしまおおばあどらいぶ”とやらの調子はどうじゃ？」
バキシム「うーん、あんまりよくなかったりしますねーっ。使いにくいし」

　右腕をスリスリさすりながら、バキシムは言った。

ヤプール「なんじゃ、こちらも拍子抜けじゃな。……ガディバ！」

　ヤプールが声を上げる、それについづいして現れたのは……

ガディバ「……あ？」
ヤプール「もう一度“アタマ”を使ってやり直せ。反論は認めん」
ガディバ「……けっ。なんでオレさまが……そもそもオレさまは肉体労働向きなんだっつーの、ぶつぶつ……」

　憎まれ口を叩きつつ、ガディバは奥へと消えていった。
　あれだけ悪態をつきつつもしっかりヤプールの命令には従うあたり、そこまで不忠者ではないらしい。
　いや、ヤプールの“オシオキ”が怖いだけか？
　そんなガディバを見送ったあと、バキシムは不意に口を開いた。

バキシム「いーんですか、あんなこと言わせといて？　この前みたいに独断専行した」
ヤプール「あのスケトウダラみたいな愚物、もはやおるまい？」

　ヤプールは言って、ニヤリと嗤う。

バキシム「……そりゃぁ、あれだけヤプールさまらしい、悪趣味で陰険で陰湿かつ陰鬱な見せしめすれば、もういないとは思いますけどっ」
ヤプール「（ひくひく）…………」

　ヤプールは頬をビキィっ！　と引きつらせるが、まぁ放っておいた。
　そんなことよりやるべきことがある。
　ヤプールは目の前のテーブル――これもやっぱり赤と黄色と紫色が混じった、サイケなデザイン――にパラパラとカードを並べた。
　そのカードには、ライダー少女の顔が画かれている。

ヤプール「さぁて。次はどの人形で遊ぶとするかのぅ……くくっ」
バキシム「うわー、ヤプールさまガチで陰湿な笑顔ーっ」

　カードにはキックホッパーたん、サイガたん、ブレイドたんの顔が画かれていた。
　ヤプールはしばしそれらを眺めて、その中の一枚を手に取った。

アスカ「さて。今回はイロイロと語らなきゃいけないこと、あるわね。……というか、
　　　　今回の『出張盤』は全体的にやや不完全燃焼気味、と言わざるをえないわけだけどっ。（汗　」
わぴたん「………いやその。今回で完全燃焼しちゃったら、物語り終わっちゃうんで」
アスカ「……わかってるわよそれぐらい。アタシが言いたいのは、なんかこう、カタルシスに欠けるって言うか……」
レイヴィ「まー、敵さんも結局昇天したんは大量のフォックスたんだけやしなー。なんかこう、スカっ！　とせぇへんモンはあるわなー」
わぴたん「いやだって、みんな大好きヤプールさま」
アスカ「その黒幕であるヤプール登場にしたって、なんかイマイチだし」
わぴたん「文句ばっかりうるせぇなコイツ……まぁヤプールさまに関しては、初登場時から気づいてたと思うんで、イマサラ感は拭えないですが」
レイヴィ「にしたって、もうちょいやりようある気はするけどなー？」
アスカ「……まぁいいわ、アンタにこれ以上を期待するだけムダね」
わぴたん「うぐぐっ……！」←言い返せない
アスカ「ところで今回で＜了＞ってなってるけど？」
レイヴィ「（カンペを読みつつ）あー、『次の序章・はちみつに繋がっていくんで、そこでイロイロ判明したり』やとさ。
　　　　　なんや、この今回のお話はあくまで『クロノスたんの話の流れの途中』らしいで？」
アスカ「つまり、すべてが明かされるころにはこの話も終わる、と。……ちゃんと終わるのかしら？」
レイヴィ「それは言いっこなしや。ほんなら、なぜか「03」が編集できひんようになったんで、し損ねたお返事やでー♪」
アスカ「それじゃ、八兎ジャックさんから。って言っても、八兎さんだけなんだけど」

＞……いやその明日花ちゃん、予定は未定であって（以下略）

アスカ「……まぁ、八兎さんがそう言うなら……」

＞ヒビキねーさまはかっちょえぇですねー。

レイヴィ「筆者いわく、『響鬼ねーさまは完成されたヒーローのイメージ』なんやと。師匠としてはイマイチ、なんて話も聞いたことあんねんけどなー。（苦笑　」

＞キュウビたんも発狂モードフラグが立ったわけで、すんげぇ猛攻が予想されるわけですが

アスカ「これは前述したとおり、不完全燃焼気味な終わり方だったわね。というより、史実にもある「キュウビ」ってのは扱いが難しかったからすぐフェードアウトさせたみたい」
レイヴィ「弱すぎたら批判の嵐が飛んでくるし、強すぎたらそれはそれでオカシイしなー。サジ加減が難しいっちゅーこっちゃ」
アスカ「だったら最初から書くなっつーのよ……！」

＞響鬼たん＆クロノスたんのコンビネーションプレイっすか。

アスカ「とりあえず『出張盤』が各陣営について２本ほど考えてるみたい。
　　　　だから１本目は軽く接触、深く接触するのは２本目以降ってことになるのかしら？」
レイヴィ「ただし、『共闘する』とは一言も言ってへんけどな」

＞……いや、つか他の平成ライダー系組織が連携しなさすぎ……(苦笑)

アスカ「…………そうよね。（汗　」
レイヴィ「ほんなら、今日はこの辺でさいならー♪」

アスカ「それじゃ、今回のお返事。一人目、DarkMoonNightさんから」

＞倒してしまったらもったいないかんじもしますけどね

レイヴィ「あわよくば、また活躍させたいとか筆者は思っとるみたいやでー？」

＞楽しみにしてますぜ！！

アスカ「……まぁ、こんなペースで投稿できるのもこれで最後だから、次回はちょっと遅れるでしょうけど。
　　　　期待に応えられるように筆者を馬車馬のごとく働かせるわ。それと、アタシたちも『フィーネ劇場版』に出していただけるみたいで、感謝してます」

アスカ「スパロボＫ……ゾイドが参戦したと聞いたときは、腰を抜かしそうになったわ。今となっちゃいい思い出ね」

＞クロノスたんの敵さんは愛着湧きやすくて困りますｗ

レイヴィ「これは筆者のポリシー、『敵キャラだろうと誰かに気に入られるべし！』ってヤツやな」
アスカ「それじゃ三人目、イタリアーノリクさん」
